Troublesome

Kagome flushed as she felt Sesshoumaru swoop her up like she was nothing more than a feather. She stiffened as he grasped her tightly, pulling her flush against his elegant form. Kagome swallowed over the lump in her throat. This was definitely an unforeseen development in their cautiously strained alliance. To be honest, she hadn't expected this at all - she hadn't even expected to live past the first week. She felt her face heat up when she noticed he cradled her with a gentleness she would of never suspected he was capable of.

It was understandable for her to have had doubts - the usually reserved dog demon had never really come off as he cared about her well being... much less even acknowledged her existence half the time.

"You are infuriatingly clumsy, miko." She heard him state dryly, his gold eyes scrutinizing her bleeding knees.

A small abashed smile on her lips, she replied, "Ya I know. Its not even just a human thing - its a Kagome skill."

The dog demon's left brow cocked upwards a bit. "Hn." He hummed as he then began to walk.
